Kate Cheney got her start in Event Management in 1998 after returning from a three year stint in Hiroshima, Japan. She started with ConventionALL Management, then a division Association Management Centre at the ground level and worked her way up the ranks. Now owner and President of ConventionALL Management, Kate has maintained long term clients while building the business and continuing high standards of customer service.

Kate has a BA from the University of Lethbridge, is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and serves on the Greater Calgary Chapter Board of Directors as VP of Membership. She was recently honoured with a planner profile in ConnectWest, a Western Canadian MPI Magazine and also received the 2006-07 Rising Star Award at the National Meetings Industry Day Award ceremony held in April. In July 2007 Kate achieved her Certified Meeting Professional designation (CMP).
